$124 Million Texas Mixed-Use Development Acquisition
On September 14, 2016, Higgins & Brancheau LLC completed the acquisition and financing of a $124,000,000 mixed-use office-retail development for one of our real estate clients. The property, located in a thriving Texas city, contains 209,000 SF in three buildings. The anchor is a repurposed power plant ground leased from the City. We represented the purchaser and its pension fund partner. Our tasks included contract and loan document negotiation and title and survey review. During the first nine months 0f 2016, we have assisted this client in five acquisitions totaling more than $650,000,000 in purchase price.
